Kyoto Progress Report Austria 1990-2005 (2007 data)
Description
On 16 February 2005, the Kyoto Protocol entered into force. This Protocol provides for an 8% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions from the European Union. Austria has a reduction target of 13% based on internal EU regulations. The Kyoto target refers to the average of the commitment period 2008-2012 compared to the Kyoto base year 1990.
