Phytogeographical breakdown of the Czech Republic
Description
The service displays the phytogeographical breakdown of the Czech Republic. In the 1980s, the phytogeographic commission of the Czechoslovak Botanical Society prepared this breakdown for the editors of V. Skalický. Like other regionally phytogeographical subdivisions, when defining landscape units, the component of vegetation and its building blocks — a set of plant species, i.e. flora — emphasises the component of vegetation and its building blocks. It is mainly used in the complex work “May of the Czech Republic” in the description of the distribution of individual species.
