Data Municipal Heat Planning NRW
Description
With these data packages, the LANUV provides up-to-date and small-scale technical data to support municipal heat planning. These will be developed within the framework of the LANUV potential study on the future heat supply in NRW, which is being processed in 2023/2024 and subsequently prepared for the OpenData offer. Accordingly, the data packets are continuously supplemented by completed data. The room heating and hot water requirements of residential and non-residential buildings have been recalculated for the 2024 model and now also includes updates in three different refurbishment scenarios for the years 2025, 2030, 2035, 2040, 2045. It is available as shape files at building level and per road train (heat lines) for each municipality individually. There is also a NRW-wide geodatabase with feature classes (ESRI). The model is supplemented by a short documentation (pdf) on the sources used and the methodological procedure as well as an Excel table to explain the column contents of the attribute tables of the spatial data. In addition to room heating and hot water requirements, the heat lines include the process heat requirements of trade, trade and services, which could also be met by heating networks due to their temperature level. All buildings have been assigned a building type including a building age class. Despite the high degree of detail, large deviations to reality can occur, especially at the level of individual buildings, especially in the continuation of heat requirements, as statistically derived renovation probabilities play a major role here. Accordingly, a larger number of individual buildings should be considered aggregated in heat planning. Building stock taken into account: Summer 2022 (LoD1/LoD2 3D building model).
