National Measuring Network Sources
Description
The task of the Land Groundwater Service quantitatively is to continuously collect, process and provide data on groundwater levels and springs of all supraregionally important aquifers for government planning and monitoring activities and for the transfer to non-governmental bodies. For this purpose, the Bavarian water management administration operates, among other things, the Landesmessnetz Quellen with more than 100 measuring stations. The data is used to provide an overview of the location of measuring stations of the state measuring network Sources in Bavaria.
