Detection data of geological investigations according to the Geological Data Act (GeolDG) - purpose of the investigation: Exploration, Extraction and Storage of Petroleum/Natural Gas (WMS Service)
Description
In accordance with the Geology Data Act (GeolDG), the State Office for Mining, Energy and Geology (LBEG), as the competent authority for Lower Saxony, ensures the public provision of geological data and ensures their access for everyone.
The public provision of geological data is categorized as detection data, technical data and government evaluation data. Geological detection data assign geological investigations personally, locally, temporally and generally to content. Specialist data are geological data obtained by means of measurements and recordings. Assessment data are geological data that include analyses and conclusions on technical data, e.g. in the form of expert opinions or studies.
The presented detection data refer to the punctual, linear and area-based geological investigations indicated at the LBEG. The detection data are divided into individual selectable levels according to the purpose of the investigation and can be researched in each case.
