Nature reserves Landkreis Mittelsachsen
Description
The metadata set describes all designated protected areas in the district of Mittelsachsen in the category “Nature Protected Areas”. On the basis of these Regulations/Decisions there is a total area of 16.80 km². Nature reserves are legally determined areas according to § 23 BNatSchG in conjunction with § 14 SächsNatSchG in which special protection of nature and landscape is required. The Landratsamt Mittelsachsen is responsible for the designation of nature reserves as the Lower Nature Conservation Authority. The GML download of the spatial data via WFS is possible here.
