Piezometry control network of the Guadalquivir River Basin Demarcation
Description
Groundwater piezometry monitoring network of the Guadalquivir River Basin District. Operational piezometric control points classified as "low" that make up the network for monitoring the quantitative status of groundwater bodies defined within the Guadalquivir River Basin District. At the beginning of the First Hydrological Planning Cycle (2009-2015) the official control network consisted of 179 piezometers. After the revision and updating of the networks started between 2012-2013, this number was increased by 41 points during the first phase (reaching up to 220) and by 45 more during 2015 (to 265 "operational" points).
Piezometry measurements are available from 1968 to the present.
