Description
The Province of Utrecht has laid down its interim policy of land-moving for these production decks (see also the municipal Soil function maps and soil quality maps and the ‘Management framework for soil management, rural area, December 2010’). A bottom map shows the construction of the soil up to 1.20 meters below ground level. The Soil Map Veenareas province Utrecht, scale 1:25,000 is an update and further detailing of older existing soil maps. The map shows the current occurrence of creation decks within the research area. The designation of the creation deck on the map is not decisive, but only indicative tool. Drilling profiles are decisive. For the municipality of Vijfheerenlanden, which has been part of the province of Utrecht since 1 January 2019, no data is yet available.
