Compulsory sprinkler of middle school
Description
From the 2017/2018 school year, all 10- to 14-year-old compulsory pupils or their parents or other legal guardians in Upper Austria can decide for themselves which secondary school (MS) in the country they want to attend, provided that the spatial, personnel and organizational resources at the respective desired school location allow this.
Furthermore, however, each pupil can attend an MS in the immediate vicinity of the place of residence (compulsory sprinkler school). Students who live in the compulsory ward of an MS must not be denied admission to this school in the future.
