Description

Municipal integration services in accordance with § 16 a SGB II have the aim of contributing to the realization of holistic and comprehensive support and support for integration into work. The consultations are intended to help with the management and reduction of financial, personal or health problems. This prepares for placement in the labour market or participation in a further vocational integration measure. The offers of § 16 a SGB II also include the care of minor or disabled children or the home care of relatives and addiction counselling. The free and voluntary life situation counselling helps unemployment benefit II recipients to cope with and reduce personal problems. As part of a professional one-on-one consultation, people seeking advice are supported in coping with problems with the aim of stabilising their life situation. In many cases, re-entry into work is difficult due to health restrictions. Against this background, hamburger arbeit offers unemployed persons or people who are in difficult social circumstances a wide range of services relating to health orientation, prevention and health promotion. In individual consultations, the people seeking advice are supported and personal solutions are developed. In addition, various courses can be taken. These services are free of charge for those seeking advice. The recognised debtor and insolvency advisory bodies support the implementation of consumer insolvency proceedings in accordance with Section 305 of the Insolvency Code (Insolvenzordnung, InsO). The publicly funded debt counselling centres also offer comprehensive advice for people who receive social benefits or have a low income on all questions of debt, such as wage or account attachment. An assumption of the consulting costs by the city is possible here.
