Restriction areas for soil energy
Description
Within a restriction area, all closed systems are subject to authorisation, including the small systems (< 70 kW).
A restriction area shall be designated if it is desirable to establish additional policies for that area to avoid negative interference between soil energy systems, or otherwise to promote the efficient use of soil energy. A restriction area is designated by municipal (and in special cases by provincial) regulation.
The source holders of this data are the provinces and the municipalities. The service associated with this metadata collects the supplied areas from the source holders on a daily basis.
