Bosnia and Herzegovina - Orašje, 2014 - P02 - Topographic / Hydrographic Reference Information

Description

The Balkans have been hit by the most severe floods in more than 120 years. According to the Federal Foreign Office, more than one million people in Bosnia and Herzegovina alone are affected by the effects of the floods. The map shows topographic, hydrographic and infrastructure information in the Orašje area. The terrain information was derived from a Cartosat surface model (resolution 5 m) consisting of several scenes recorded between 2008 and 2012. The height information is additionally shown in the form of isolines.
