Emergency Humane Locations
Description
In the province, around 100 locations have been designated as ‘emergency humane locations’ (state of play 2021). These are locations that are severely polluted and where the soil contamination can pose a risk to people during current use. They should therefore be addressed as soon as possible. Often these are places where companies sit or have sat such as chemical laundries, metalworking companies or gas stations. There is no acute danger, but long-term exposure can pose risks to health. Therefore, site owners have been informed and informed what temporary and permanent measures are needed on the sites
