The Furtbot informs the users in advance by push message about the current situation (level level, navigability and closure) at the ford at the Dornbirner Ache.
The shallow point in the course of the river Ache is often flooded during floods. Motorists and cyclists have to evade on a large scale, which is a time-consuming problem, especially for commuters on their way to work. There hasn't been an automatic notification for information about this lock so far.
Users can also have live images of the webcam installed on site sent to them. For data protection reasons, care was taken to make the number plates unrecognizable.
