Description
The regional sectoral plan (§12a BauG, §1 BauV) is a binding instrument for spatially effective municipal and regional projects and can cover various topics such as measures of the agglomeration programmes (e.g. slow traffic), economic development areas (e.g. definition of industrial and commercial priorities), traffic measures, leisure facilities, recreational areas and much more. The municipal councils decide on the regional plans and submit them to the government council for approval. The spatial data set does not contain topic-specific content on the regional sectoral plan, but merely records where such a plan exists. The perimeter corresponds to the municipal boundaries of the participating municipalities.
