Description
A key objective of the National Action Plan on Gender Equality in the labour market is to reduce income disparities between women and men. Transparency and thus also disclosure of salaries in the Federal Service is intended to counteract income discrimination. The legally mandatory preparation of income reports was enshrined in both the Federal Equal Treatment Act (B-GlBG) and the Equal Treatment Act of the Private Sector (GlBG).
