Established archaeological areas
Description
The established inventory of archaeological zones maps out in which areas archaeological remains or traces are in the ground. Two elements play an important role in the selection of zones: there must be a good indication of the presence of archaeological heritage and there must be a good indication that this heritage is still sufficiently well preserved to have archaeological value. These two important elements have been confirmed in established archaeological zones.
