Description
The Road Tree Flows Map Level is a map layer published for the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency’s Theme Map for Road Tree Flows. At the level, tree flows on roads are presented by number and weight category of transports. The number of transports includes loaded and empty vehicles. The data is updated annually, based on Digiroad’s road link data 1/2021. It is possible to visualise the data according to both the number category and the weight category. The data covers the whole of Finland. The material is not complete: it does not cover the wood flows of all forest industry companies (especially sawmill flows are missing) and some of the data is based on modelling (volumes are routed between start and destination using the shortest route). The Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency is happy to supplement the data with missing information. The map can only be viewed.
