WMS (Web Map Service) Groundwater Quality Indicators: Identification of marine intrusion into groundwater (2021)
Description
The WMS (Web Map Service) Service called "Underground Water Quality Indicators: Identification of marine intrusion into groundwater (2021)" allows the visualisation and consultation of the dataset representing marine intrusion is a common phenomenon that occurs in some coastal groundwater bodies, especially in the case of overexploited aquifers, and that can affect the quality of the waters.
In this analysis, all analyses of chloride substances available in the monitoring programmes (monitoring and operational control programme) of groundwater intended to assess the status, in compliance with state and European regulations, of which information is available in NABIA (System of Exchange of Information on the Status and Quality of Waters) have been considered.
