WMS: Geology — Near-surface Geology
Description
The Geological Service SH develops maps as a result of the geological survey. These geological maps represent the geological construction of the surface and the near surface surface (upper two meters) on different scales. Further themed maps can be derived from information on the distribution of rocks of the same characteristics from geological maps. The theme maps of this service include the Geological Overview Map 1:250,000, the area backdrop of known potentials for the extraction of near-surface raw materials, as well as protected geotopes and geopotentials.
