Description
Germany-wide overview of the designated nature parks. Nature parks (ยง 27 BNatSchG) are large-scale cultural landscapes in which the protection and preservation of biotope and biodiversity are strongly linked to the recreational function of landscapes for humans. They support environmentally friendly tourism and sustainable land use. This harmonised dataset was merged by the Federal Agency for Nature Conservation from data from the federal states. An update is made annually and if necessary. Since the data come from different sources and are based on different measurement standards, deviations are possible in a position and also up-to-date.
