Points allowing access to the Guadeloupe Coast Trail
Description
The coastal path must allow pedestrians to access the shore of the sea and walk as much as possible along the coast. It designates the entire open route along the sea. It does not have a single legal status because it consists of sections of a different legal nature. Depending on the nature of the land bordering the maritime public domain, the trail passes over public domains of the State or local authorities, or on private property. The entire route constituting the coastal path includes the path open to pedestrians, the linear path to be studied or accessible in the short term, the linear of the coastline inaccessible. This layer lists the points allowing access (parking, infrastructure) to the coastal path on part of the metropolitan coastal departments and on Guadeloupe. In the long term, the data will be available on the entire metropolitan and overseas coasts. This resource is in line with the COVADIS coastal trail data standard (version 1.0 — January 22, 2014) document.
