Vegetation Index (NDVI) of Andalusia. Seasonal Average, 2008 (NOAA AVHRR)
Description
Seasonal average of NDVI calculated from NOAA satellite images captured by the Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer (AVHRR) sensor. The AVHRR sensor collects information in 5 spectral bands: visible, near-infrared and 3 in thermal infrared, all with a resolution of 1000 m. The seasonal average of NDVI 2008 is calculated from the monthly averages, grouping December 2007, January and February 2008 in winter; March, April and May 2008 in spring; June, July and August 2008 in summer; September, October and November 2008 in autumn.
