Persons indication care with stay; basis, self-employed, quarter, 2009-2023
Description
This table shows the number of persons who have an indication on reference date for care with stay (AWBZ/Wlz-financed). This care was financed until 2015 by the General Exceptional Medical Expenses Act (AWBZ) and from 2015 by the Long-Term Care Act (Wlz).
Only the Wlz indications are included in this table and partner residence and the subsidy scheme for primary residence are excluded.
The preliminary quarterly figures are published on persons who have ever been registered in the Personal Records Database (BRP). Further provisional and final figures are published for persons who are registered in the BRP on the reference date.
The figures are broken down by basis and zzp. In this table, the abbreviation zzp is used for both care weight package and care profile.
Data available from 2009 to 2023
Status of figures:
The quarterly figures up to 2021 are final. The quarterly figures for 2022 are further preliminary. The figures for 2023 are provisional. The figures in this table are based on data from the Centre for Indication of Care (CIZ).
Changes as of 29 March 2024:
Textual amendment. The figures in this table will only be adjusted, after which the table will be discontinued at the end of 2025.
When will there be new figures?
No new figures are published for the period after 2023 Q4. In autumn 2024, the figures for 2022 will become definitive and the figures for 2023 will become more provisional. In autumn 2025, the figures for 2023 will become definitive. Thereafter, the table of final figures for 2009 to 2023 will be discontinued.
A new table on indications with quarterly data from 2015 onwards has been published on 28 March 2024: Persons with indication; base, self-employed persons, stock and inflows and outflows, quarterly (see paragraph 3).
