Water vision maps - Potential green water storage public space

Description

This dataset includes spaces for public potential green water storage. Spaces to collect water above ground are mainly green places in the city. This not only improves the natural water drainage, but it also prevents drying of higher ground. An additional advantage is that with more green the living environment becomes more attractive. This dataset mainly concerns green water storage facilities in public spaces that can be built in the future. The potential green water storage public space is part of the Eindhoven water vision map. The water vision map contains map layers to visualize the vision of the future water system. Part of the map consists of existing water management elements such as water storage, waterways and pipes. Another part of the map is about connecting the existing water system and the required space claim for desired new structures and storages to make the water system more climate-robust so that flooding in the city is prevented as much as possible. **Various parts of the water vision map are available on our Open Data portal: [Watervisie — Eindhoven Open Data](https://data.eindhoven.nl/explore/?sort=modified&q=Watervisie).
