Use compensating WMO custom work facilities; type, shape, region
Description
This table shows the number and proportion of persons aged 18 or over who make use of at least one tailor-made provision in the year under review, funded by the Social Support Act – 2015 (WMO-2015), for which an own contribution must be paid, and which is registered by the Central Administration Office (CAK). Municipalities have the freedom to offer Wmo care as a general or tailor-made provision and whether or not to ask for their own contribution. The CAK only registers tailor-made facilities for which an own contribution is requested. The choice of municipalities therefore has an impact on the care registered by the CAK and the figures that are based on it. The use of customised Wmo facilities for which an own contribution is requested may therefore vary by municipality and period in this table. Registrations concerning protected living are supplied to the CAK from the central municipalities.
Customised facilities within the Wmo-2015 are delivered to clients as care in kind (zin) or via a personal budget (pgb). Due to the change to the subscription rate, the CAK no longer collects data on type of customised provision and delivery form for Wmo care at home, which means that this breakdown can no longer be made. In 2020, the CAK also adopted a new registration system for WMO custom work facilities (excluding residence and reception). Due to these changes in the register dates, the figures for 2020 and beyond are not necessarily comparable to the previous reporting years. The table contains only persons registered in the Basic Registration Persons (BRP) in the reporting year. The figures are broken down by gender, age category, form in which care is provided (until 2020), the type of tailor-made provision (until 2020), the type of household and region.

Status of the figures:
The figures for the last year are provisional, the figures for previous years are final.
Amendments as of 18 December 2023:
Preliminary figures for 2022 have been added and figures for 2020 and 2021 have been finalised.
When will there be new figures?
The provisional figures shall be published no later than 12 months after the end of the reporting year.
