Use of contribution-paying Wlz care; delivery form, zzp, region
Description
This table shows the number and proportion of persons aged 18 or over who, in the year under review and at the reference date, use care subject to compulsory contributions financed by the Long-Term Care Act (Wlz). This also includes persons who are Wlz-indicable. Persons who use contributory care on the basis of one of the subsidy schemes are excluded. Care that falls under the Wlz can be provided to clients as care in kind (sentence) or from a personal budget (pgb). This concerns only persons who are registered in the Basic Personal Data Registration (BRP) during the reporting year or on the reference date. In addition, the number of care days in the reporting year was given.
The figures are broken down by gender, age category, form of care, care-gravity package (ZZP) and region.
In 2015, persons using care with delivery form complete package at home (vpt) were not unequivocally registered. A part of the persons with vpt is registered under delivery form vpt, a part under delivery form Wlz with stay. Persons registered under delivery form vpt are counted at Wlz with residence in 2015. Figures on the number and share of people with delivery form vpt are unknown in 2015.
When using Wlz care with delivery form modular package at home (mpt), no self-employed persons were registered by the CAK in 2015 and 2016. As of 2017, some of the people with MPT have a registered self-employed person. From 2019 onwards, the number of people with MPT without a registered self-employed person will decrease sharply. Until 2019, people with MPT will be included in the category 'No care-gravity package' for the sake of comparability of the figures. Persons with the combination mpt-pgb will be counted towards the zzp of the pgb until 2019.

Changes as of 7 May 2024:
For the years 2019-2022, information regarding the delivered care-gravity package (zzp) has become available for the delivery form Modular Parcel Home (mpt). These figures have been added to the table. In the delivery form combination mpt-pgb, the zzp of mpt has now been used instead of the zzp of pgb. As a result, within the delivery form combi mpt-pgb persons have shifted to other self-employed persons. The total number of persons with a combi mpt-pgb has remained the same as the old situation.
When will there be new figures?
The provisional figures shall be published no later than 12 months after the end of the reporting year. When new annual figures are published, the figures for the previous year become definitive.
