Persons with use Wlz care; delivery form, care gravity package
Description
As of 2015, long-term care is financed by several laws: the Long-term Care Act (Wlz), the Social Support Act 2015 (Wmo 2015), the Health Insurance Act and the Youth Act. Under these laws, care can be taken as care in kind or financed from a personal budget (pgb). For the use of care from a pgb, budget holders conclude agreements with healthcare providers and declarations are submitted.
This table shows the number and proportion of persons who use Wlz care in kind and/or financed from a pgb in the reporting year and on reference date. This includes persons who are Wlz-indicable and persons who use Wlz care that is covered by partner accommodation. Persons who use care in kind on the basis of one of the subsidy schemes shall be disregarded. This concerns only persons who are registered in the Basic Registration of Personal Data (BRP) during the reporting year or on the reference date.
The figures are broken down by gender, age at 31 December of the year under review, form of delivery of care and self-employed as indicated by the Centre for Care Indication. In this table, the abbreviation zzp is used for both care gravity package and care profile. The zzp of the indication is determined at the start date of the declaration. Declarations can go through if the indication has been adjusted. People can use different self-employed persons in the year under review and end up in multiple self-employed persons categories. This allows the sum of the details to differ from the total. On reference date this may also occur due to administrative overlap. In a year, people can use only sentence and only care paid from a pgb in terms of delivery. Simultaneous use of sentence and care from a pgb is viewed for this table per day; if a person uses both sentence and pgb simultaneously in the reporting year, he falls into the category ‘combination phrase/pgb’ and does not fall into the exclusive categories.

Preliminary figures for 2022 have been added. The figures for 2021 have been finalised.
When will there be new figures?
The provisional figures shall be published no later than 12 months after the end of the reporting year. In the event of a new publication, the figures for previous years will be given the final status.
