Persons using Wlz care in kind; delivery form,zzp/care form, region
Description
This table shows the number and proportion of persons who use care in kind financed by the Long-Term Care Act (Wlz) and have a WLZ indication of the Centre for Indication Care in the reporting year and who use care in kind on the reference date. This includes persons who are Wlz-indicable and persons who use Wlz care that is covered by partner accommodation. Persons who use care in kind on the basis of one of the subsidy schemes shall be disregarded. This concerns only persons who are registered in the Basic Registration of Personal Data (BRP) during the reporting year or on the reference date. In addition, the number of care hours, daily parts or days and expenditure in the reporting year were given.
The figures are broken down by gender, age category, delivery form of care, care gravity package (zzp) and care form and region. In the case of accommodation delivery, the care gravity package is further broken down by stay with or without treatment; this breakdown is not made for partner residence and sector totals.
Expenditure figures for 2015-2017 lack the capital burden (i.e. property and inventory expenditure) that are not declared at person level. For the inclusion of capital charges in the rates there is a growth trajectory, with capital in 2015 at 50 %, 70 % in 2016, 85 % in 2017 and 100 % from 2018. From 2018 onwards, there will be so-called integral funding in which both care and capital costs are fully financed through the rates of the care care packages. Figures on total capital costs not declared at person level in 2015-2017 can be found in the table: Care Gravity Packages; expenditure/volume based on post-calculation and agreements (for a link see paragraph 3).

Status of the figures:
The figures for the last year are provisional and the figures for previous years are final.
The figures in this table are based on data from Vektis and on data from the Centre Indicatiestelling Zorg (CIZ).
Changes as of 30 October 2023:
— The preliminary figures for 2022 have been added.
— The preliminary figures for 2021 have been finalised.
— As of 2022, the form of care ‘Secure care’ has been added.
Amendments as of 27 January 2023:
Due to a change in the classification according to main and ancillary benefits belonging to GGZ-wonen, the figures for 2021 have been adjusted.
When will there be new figures?
The provisional figures shall be published no later than 12 months after the end of the reporting year. In the event of a new publication, the figures for previous years will be given the final status.
