National EU Reference Laboratory for Air Pollutants Calibration Workshop 2007
Description
In the Federal Environment Agency, a calibration workshop is held annually for measurement network operators of the Austrian federal states as well as other operators of measurement networks in order to ensure the traceability of calibration standards for air pollutants to the calibration standards of the Federal Environment Agency. At the calibration workshop in January and February 2007, the deviations between the Federal Environment Agency's standard and those of the participating measurement network operators remained below one percent for the ozone component in most cases. Deviations of up to 3 % were found for sulphur dioxide and less than 2 % for nitrogen oxides and carbon monoxide. As part of the calibration workshop, the flow measurement devices as well as the film sets for radiometric particulate matter measurement devices were also compared with a film set of the Federal Environment Agency.
