Environmental Regulation, Restriction of large-scale logistics
Description
The Environmental Regulation designates an area for ‘Restriction of large-scale logistics’. Restrictions apply to the expansion and new establishment of large-scale logistics. The latter is the case for parcels of 3 hectares or larger with large-scale buildings for logistics or distribution activities. The aim of the scheme is to allow the development of large-scale logistics only at suitable locations and to prevent it from happening elsewhere. The Environmental Ordinance contains rules for this area that municipalities must take into account when drawing up an environmental plan for large-scale logistics.
