Hazard and Flood Risk Maps in the Spanish part of the Guadiana River Basin District (2016-2021)
Description
Flood hazard maps and flood risk maps for return periods of 10, 100 and 500 years in the Spanish part of the Guadiana demarcation. Flood Hazard Maps include three scenarios: Low, Medium and High probability of flooding. The Flood Risk Maps show the adverse consequences of floods on people, economic activities, the environment and points of special importance (EDAR, IPPC, Cultural Heritage, Civil Protection). The resulting maps and documents were favourably reported by the Committee of Competent Authorities of the Guadiana Basin at its meeting on 2 September 2015. To facilitate the possibility of making comments, observations and / or suggestions, with respect to the content of the information exposed, the following email address is maintained enabled: Mapasriesgo@chguadiana.es
This address will collect all the contributions in this regard to take them into consideration for the next revision of these maps, which will be updated no later than December 22, 2019.
