Business dynamics; employers, company size and industry
Description
This table contains figures on the evolution of the number of employers over a three-year period. The table provides, inter alia, information on the total number of employers at the beginning and end of the three-year period and on the number of employers who have seen the number of employees grow or shrink over the three-year period. The data are broken down by industry/branch according to the Standard Business Classification 2008 (SBI 2008) and by some size groups.
This table has been developed for the State of SMEs programme.
Status of figures:
Figures in the table for 2022 are provisional, other figures are final.
Changes as of 18 July 2023:
Data for 2022 have been added, updated for 2021 on the basis of information that became available at a later stage and are now final.
When will there be new figures:
New figures are expected by mid-2024.
