Farmers and private landowners can receive compensation for the construction and maintenance of landscape elements, water elements, small flowery edges or a walking path over farmland through the Incentive Scheme Landscape (StiLa). On the basis of a number of criteria in the scheme, a decision is issued with certain conditions and a fee.
