Description

The data set ‘Heat demand’ of the heat register represents the useful heat demand (Abk.: NCA - heat demand for heating and hot water) of the Hamburg building stock in aggregated form. The (useful) heat demand of the Hamburg building stock is displayed at the block level and at the cluster level. In addition, you can choose between two refurbishment stages: 1. ‘Unrestored’ implies a building condition that does not have any thermal upgrades (apart from a simple window replacement) 2. ‘Refurbished’ adopts a conventional refurbishment of all buildings (according to ENEV 2014). The presentation and categorization can be selected as follows: 1. total demand of all residential and non-residential buildings of the cluster or building block unit; in megawatt hours per year [MWh/a] 2. Specific heat demand of residential buildings (clusters); in kilowatt hours per square metre of usable area per year [kWh/m2 a] 3. ‘Heat density in the building block’; the total demand of all residential and non-residential buildings (such as No 1) divided by the floor area of each building block; in kilowatt hours per square metre of building block floor area per year [kWh/m2 a] Detailed information can be found in the heat register manual.
