Description
This table focuses on the experience of (in)security and the assessment of crime and security by citizens. This concerns the security experience in general and the assessment of crime in one’s own neighborhood.
The data are displayed for the Caribbean Netherlands as a whole, but also for the islands of Bonaire, St Eustatius and Saba. Breakdowns by gender, age and level of education are also possible.
The investigation is a sample examination. This means that the figures shown are estimates, for which reliability margins apply. These margins are also included in the table.
The figures refer to persons aged 15 or over, unless otherwise stated.
The Omnibus survey was conducted for the first time in 2013 on Bonaire, Saba and St Eustatius in the month of June and the first week of July. The Omnibus survey was carried out for the second time in the months of October and November 2017 on Bonaire, and in the period January to March 2018 on Saba and St Eustatius. The Omnibus survey was carried out for the third time in 2021 on Bonaire, Saba and St Eustatius in the months of October to December.

The figures in this table are provisional for the year 2021 and the remaining figures are final.

The preliminary figures 2021 have been added.
When will there be new figures?
