Description
With the guideline, the Federal Environment Agency supports authorities in the environmental impact assessment (EIA) of projects in areas where the air pollutant limit values have been exceeded. The guide focuses on projects with transport relevance. Consideration is given to the local and material scope of application of the Immission Control Act-Air (IG-L), for areas exceeding the air pollutant limit values, criteria for an irrelevant additional load are proposed as well as an appropriate procedure for the individual assessment. The handling of traffic and immission forecasts is also discussed. In this version of the guide, updates have been made that have resulted from changes in the legal situation, the state of knowledge and the stress situation.
