Description
This dataset shows the amount of A-wood and B-wood that is released annually within South Holland.
A-wood and B-wood include waste wood that has not been preserved. A-wood is wood that is not impregnated or varnished. B-wood includes lower quality wood that is often used as raw material for products such as pallets, bobbins and particle board. B-wood often contains glue, lacquer or paint. In cases where the wood is in poor condition, it is used as biofuel for the generation of renewable energy in bio-energy plants.
