Northern Climate-Territorial Energy Plans (PCET) - Pas-de-Calais

Description

The Territorial Climate Energy Plan (PCET) is a territorial sustainable development project whose primary purpose is the fight against climate change. Established by the National Climate Plan and taken over by the Grenelle 1 and 2 laws, it constitutes a framework of commitment for the territory. The ETCP has two objectives: mitigation: limiting the impact of the territory on the climate by reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions with a view to factor 4 (divide these emissions by 4 by 2050); adaptation means reducing the vulnerability of the territory, since it has now been established that the impacts of climate change can no longer be entirely avoided. The PCET is integrated into the community's political project. If a local Agenda 21 pre-exists, the PCET reinforces the "Energy-Climate" component of it. Otherwise, the PCET can be the first part of a future Agenda 21 (DREAL Nord - Pas-de-Calais)
