Description

The National Programme for Young Economic Empowerment, approved by Government Decision no.664 of 3 June 2008, was initiated in order to develop young people’s entrepreneurial skills in rural areas and is implemented in 2008-2013. PNAET is structured in three components, offering free training and repayable commercial credits in the amount of up to 300 thousand lei with maturity of up to 5 years, from the state’s external lending resources to support the real production sector, financing the procurement of new production equipment and machinery and services. Upon repayment without delay of the principal amount of the loan, 40 % of the loan becomes a non-reimbursable grant without interest.
