Description
The nDOM represents the grid point or grid cell-related difference of DOM and DGM and thus corresponds to the relative object height.
Digital surface models (DOM) describe the Earth’s surface including all fixed and moving objects.
These include forests and structures (buildings, bridges and high-voltage lines) as well as dormant and flowing traffic.
Digital terrain models (DGM) describe the earth’s surface exclusive of all fixed and moving objects, i.e. without forests, structures, etc.
