Soil overview maps Hessen 1:500.000 and 1:50.000 as well as soil area data 1:5.000.:Potential, soil-related hamster habitats according to soil area data Hessen 1:5000 for agricultural land (BFD5L) – The basis of the method is the relevant literature on the claims of field hamsters to habitat (root space, substrate, water conditions), which allows a systematic derivation of soil criteria and the assignment to information from the class signs of soil estimation for habitat suitability.
