Noise focus areas (INSPIRE)
Description
A noise focus area (INSPIRE Theme:Territory management, restricted areas, regulated areas and reporting units) is located along a road or railway or around an industrial site. It is the area within which the noise from that sound source may exceed the default value (Annex I to Article 1.1. Decision on quality of living environment (Bkl)). The size of the noise focus area depends on the source. Only within the noise focus area are the noise rules from the Living Environment Quality Decree (Bkl) applicable.
