Large batteries for electricity storage
Description
This table contains data on electricity storage batteries with a storage capacity > 1 MWh.
It concerns the number of systems, the storage capacity, the power with the reference date of the end of the reporting year. In addition, it concerns gross production, self-consumption and the use of electricity for the entire year under review.
Statistics Netherlands (CBS) has started to compile statistics on batteries as a result of an update of the EU Regulation on Energy Statistics in which it was agreed to produce statistics on battery systems > 1 MWh.

Status of figures:
All figures up to and including the reporting year 2022 are further provisional.
Changes as of 28 June 2024:
None. This is a new table.
When will there be new figures?
Further preliminary figures: September of the first year following the reporting year.
Final figures: November of the second year following the reporting year.
