Information on land use provided by the GSE Land Information Service GSE Land Information Service is a European consortium led by Infoterra GmbH Germany. GSE-Land unites the three ESA GSE projects SAGE, GMES Urban Services (GUS) and CoastWatch (Land Area) of the first GSE phase and offers a joint product portfolio, which is divided into mapping and geoinformation services. GSE Land supports the GMES priorities “Land Cover Change in Europe” and “Environmental Stress in Europe”. Together with other European partners, the DFD has submitted the extension project GSE-Nature (Nature Protection Services). Satellite-based services are provided to support the Habitats Directive and nature conservation for the State Office for Nature and the Environment in Schleswig-Holstein and the Brandenburg Environment Agency.
