Compensation and work volume of employees; industry, national accounts
Description
This table contains data on compensation of employees, labour costs and labour volume of employees employed by companies and institutions established in the Netherlands. Compensation of employees is broken down by wages and social security contributions payable by employers. Wage costs are the total of wages, employers' social security contributions and final taxes less wage cost subsidies. The work volume of employees is given in average number of jobs (divided into full-time/part-time jobs and gender), average number of working years, hours worked, hours paid and agreed hours year. In addition to the original figures, the table gives the compensation of employees, wages and labour costs in relation to the average number of years of work and the hours worked.

Data from 1995 to 2022 are final. Data for 2023 are provisional.

This is a new table.
The Central Bureau of Statistics recently revised the national accounts. New sources, methods and concepts are introduced into the national accounts, so that the picture of the Dutch economy is optimally aligned with all underlying statistics, sources and international guidelines for compiling the national accounts. This table shows the figures after revision. For more information see section 3.
When will there be new figures?
At the end of the reporting year, provisional figures shall be published after six months. After 18 months, the final figures will be published.
