Price of Labour; index 2021=100; national accounts
Description
The table shows the evolution of the price of labour. This refers to developments in the hourly labour costs of employees, adjusted for changes in the structure of employees. The labour price index breaks down the total increase in labour costs per hour worked into a price component and a structural effect.

Data from 2001 to 2021 are final. Data for 2022 and 2023 are provisional.

This is a new table.
The Central Bureau of Statistics recently revised the national accounts. New sources, methods and concepts are introduced into the national accounts, so that the picture of the Dutch economy is optimally aligned with all underlying statistics, sources and international guidelines for compiling the national accounts. This table shows the figures after revision and is the successor of table Price of labour; index 2015=100; national accounts; 2001-2023, see paragraph 3.
