Volume of work; quarters, gender, national accounts
Description
This table contains data on the volume of work of the self-employed and of employees employed by companies and institutions established in the Netherlands. The volume of work is given in terms of average number of persons employed, average number of jobs and hours worked per quarter and year and is broken down by sex. In addition to the original figures, the table contains seasonally adjusted figures.
Data available from: first quarter 2010.
Status of figures:
Data from 2010 to 2021 are final. Data from 2022 onwards are provisional.

This is a new table.
The Central Bureau of Statistics recently revised the national accounts. New sources, methods and concepts are introduced into the national accounts, so that the picture of the Dutch economy is optimally aligned with all underlying statistics, sources and international guidelines for compiling the national accounts. This table shows the figures after revision. For more information see section 3.
When will there be new figures?
The results of the first calculation, the so-called flash estimate, are published within 45 days after the end of a reporting quarter. The regular estimate will then be published 85 days after the end of the quarter. The second estimate for the fourth quarter revises the data for the previous three quarters of that year.
