Description
The topic group includes the average calculated immission load at the roadside of at least 100 m long road sections as an annual average value for nitrogen dioxide and PM 10 (dust particles less than 10 micrometers).

The roadside load was calculated using the PROKAS program system by the engineering firm Lohmeyer. The following data for the respective road section were the basis for the calculation of emissions:
The average daily traffic volume (DTV), the proportion of heavy traffic, the traffic situation (driving patterns), the road inclination, the road condition (important for dust pollution).
For the calculation of the immissions, the average distance of the buildings from the road axis, the building density and the average building height as well as a wind statistics of the Great Garden were used. Parts of the road node network (SKN) were used for the presentation.
The results presented represent the state of data and knowledge for 2013.
