Wuppertal ATOM Feed Environmental Zones
Description
The ATOM Feed Download Service for the Wuppertal Environmental Zones provides a dataset for download, which includes the polygons of the two environmental zones in the Wuppertal city area, valid since 15.02.2009. The environmental zones were defined as a measure of the air pollution control plan and the project management was with the district government of Düsseldorf. Since 1 July 2014, the Wuppertal environmental zones may only be used by vehicles belonging to pollutant group 4 (green badge) or with an exemption permit. The circles of the environmental zones were digitised on the basis of the Official City Map Wuppertal, a slightly generalised map on a scale of 1:15,000.
Therefore, when using the data with baseris-scattered background maps, deviations in the order of 10 meters occur.
Changes in the definition of the Wuppertal environmental zones are not to be expected in the long term.
However, the data that the download service accesses will be updated on a regular basis for security purposes.
The dataset is available under an open data license (CC BY 4.0).
